This intimate one day event is open to all women, including those involved in agriculture and those who have never set foot on a farm or ranch.
Through this workshop you will gain a renewed sense of what it means to represent the Western lifestyle and learn how to clearly articulate your own personal brand in order to become an anti-average advocate for yourself, your business, your community, the cowgirl spirit and beyond.
MEET YOUR HOSTS
Hosts Courtenay DeHoff and Sarah J. Bohnenkamp along with a dynamic lineup of speakers and special guests will teach you how to push past societal norms, embrace authenticity and dare to be different in order to create an #antiaverage life.
Sarah J. Bohnenkamp is a leadership coach, hope advocate, cowgirl and Western advocate. Courtenay DeHoff is a television host, speaker, actress and creator of Fancy Lady Cowgirl a global community that embraces both rural and urban lifestyles through the cowgirl spirit.

FEATURED SPEAKERS
Waylynn Lucas - Waylynn is a Food Network Judge, Pastry Chef, Cookbook Author and total Fancy Lady Cowgirl. Waylynn has owned and operated several restaurants globally including the famed Los Angeles bakery Fonuts. She has worked in Michelin star restaurants as a pastry chef and received critical acclaim for being the only pastry chef in Los Angeles to earn two four star reviews.
Despite her incredible success, she eventually walked away from it all. Waylynn will share a powerful message on why she left Hollywood, how horses saved her life and why sometimes you have to reinvent your dream in order to find your true purpose.
Courtenay DeHoff - Courtenay is a television personality, keynote speaker, podcast host and creator of Fancy Lady Cowgirl who has grabbed the attention of Deadspin, Yahoo!, The Huffington Post, LIVE! with Kelly, The CW and more. Courtenay combines her unique lifestyle in the city with her cowgirl spirit to bridge the gap between urban and rural communities.
She will share an intimate message about owning your individuality at all costs, the importance of being different and the key to paving your own way while going against societal norms.
Sarah J. Bohnenkamp - Sarah is leadership coach, hope dealer, speaker and agriculture advocate. For over twenty years she has been cultivating anti-average leaders with major brands and businesses around the world. Sarah attributes much of her success to lessons she's learned form horses, including her first horse "Buck" who taught her volumes about leadership, never saying a word.
Sarah will facilitate multiple interactive small group activities throughout the event to help you develop the tools you need to develop your personal brand, grow leadership skills and develop a mindset that helps you become #antiaverage.
Musical Guest
Jenna Paulette - Jenna will perform at our special Kentucky Derby Happy Hour event immediately following the workshop at Hotel Drover. Jenna has opened for Zach Brown Band among many others and is blazing a trail with her "new west" style. Her music completely embodies all that a is Fancy Lady Cowgirl and we're honored she's joining us. The happy hour will feature special cocktails, live music and we'll live stream the Kentucky Derby (fancy lady hats encouraged)! We'll wrap in time for you to enjoy dinner out on the town in Fort Worth.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The day schedule is subject to change as we continue to add even more cool people and fabulous activities. We will also be offering a Sunday morning service project opportunity for anybody who wants to join! Giving back to our communities is a core value of the Fancy Lady Cowgirl and we want to make sure we leave Fort Worth better than we found it. All attendees will receive event updates and more information with final details. We'd love for you to make a weekend out of it and experience all Fort Worth has to offer!
VENUE - Hotel Drover
Hotel Drover is garnering international acclaim thanks to its rustic-luxe guest experience inspired by the tales of the West and the iconic American cowboy.
Forbes Magazine named Hotel Drover one of the 60 most exciting hotels opening around the world in 2021. Travel and Leisure called Fort Worth one of the 50 best places to travel in 2021 and recognized Hotel Drover for its cowboy inspired design sensibility that’s Old West-meets-Spanish Colonial, with a sprinkling of Victorian smoking lounge moodiness.

We will not have a designated room block at Hotel Drover, however it is a Marriott property so don't forget to take advantage of their rewards program and ask about additional discounts such as AAA/CAA, government/military, corporate or other discounts that might apply to you.
There are a handful of hotels within walking distance of Hotel Drover including the Hyatt Place directly across the street. Hyatt Place has graciously offered a discounted room rate. We are ironing out final details with Hyatt, but the room block will be available within the next couple of days.
Fort Worth is an easily drivable city so don't be afraid to look at rooms outside of the Fort Worth Stockyards vicinity. There are hundreds of hotels across the area.
Book rooms as soon as possible! Miranda Lambert is in town this weekend and we expect hotels in the Stockyards to fill up.
LOCATION - FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS
Fort Worth is where the West begins, and nothing embodies Western heritage better than the Fort Worth Stockyards making it the perfect location for our Fancy Lady Cowgirl event. From the original brick walkways to the wooden corrals, every inch of the Stockyard tells the true story of Texas's famous livestock industry.
Located just 26 minutes from Dallas International Airport and 40 minutes from Dallas Love Field.
Things to do: Watch the world's only twice daily cattle drive held every day at 11:30AM and 4:30PM or cruise the streets shopping in all of our favorite cowgirl shops including Kimes Ranch, Wrangler, King Ranch, Luchese, Stetson and many more. Thanks to countless dining options and hotels within walking distance the Stockyards are the perfect Fancy Lady Cowgirl getaway.
